| چکیده مقاله |
| Pragmatism, as an action-oriented philosophy founded on the ideas of Peirce, James, and Dewey, regards truth not as something absolute but as a process dependent on results and experience. This philosophical perspective, by turning thought into a tool for problem-solving, provides a framework for the continuous reconstruction of knowledge. In management, this philosophy responds to the shortcomings of traditional decision-making, which rely on fixed assumptions and static frameworks and become stagnant in the face of environmental changes. Therefore, there is a need for a philosophical–analytical framework that connects decision logic with the empirical evaluation of outcomes_a framework that can transform theoretical knowledge into managerial practice. The present study seeks to explain “Pragmatic Management” as a combination of philosophy and decision-making methodology and, at the same time, designs a stepwise model for implementing pragmatic management in organizations, which constitutes the central axis of this study. The research method is a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) based on the PRISMA 2020 model and the PICOS framework. This study, by analyzing philosophical and managerial works related to pragmatism, focuses on the interaction among pragmatic thinking, the community of inquiry, and triple-loop organizational learning to show how result-oriented reasoning can evolve into a scientific and flexible decision-making model for managers. The findings indicate that pragmatic management, through the integration of experience, critical thinking, and participatory democracy, fosters the formation of learning organizations and enhances flexibility, creativity, and employee motivation. |
