| This study aims to identify and prioritize performance indicators for supply chains in the Iranian food industry based on the Lean, Agile, Resilient, and Green (LARG) framework. Initially, a comprehensive literature review was conducted to extract relevant LARG indicators, resulting in the identification of 19 key metrics across four dimensions: Lean (4 indicators), Agile (4 indicators), Resilient (6 indicators), and Green (5 indicators). The Best-Worst Method (BWM), a robust multi-criteria decision-making tool, was employed to determine the weights and rankings of these indicators. Data were collected through structured questionnaires administered to 15 supply chain experts from the Iranian food industry, including managers and academics with extensive experience. The BWM analysis revealed that Resilient and Green dimensions were the most critical, with "Ability to forecast demand" (Resilient) and "Toxic gas emission reduction" (Green) emerging as the top-ranked indicators. The Lean and Agile dimensions followed in importance, highlighting the need for efficiency and responsiveness in parallel with sustainability and risk management. The findings provide a structured prioritization of LARG indicators, offering valuable insights for managers and policymakers to enhance supply chain performance in the Iranian food sector. This study contributes to the literature by integrating the LARG framework with BWM, presenting a practical approach for performance evaluation in emerging economies. |
