چکیده مقاله
The rapid transformations in the business environment and the evolving needs of organizations have rendered traditional education models and academic credentialism insufficient to meet labor market expectations. Moreover, technological advancements and the digitalization of organizational processes have significantly increased the demand for new and practical skills. Against this backdrop, new-collar workers have emerged as a novel category of the workforce, entering the labor market through non-traditional pathways such as bootcamps, vocational programs, and professional certifications. This trend underscores the pressing need to rethink the concept of human resource professionalization. International certifications such as PHRi, SHRM-CP, and CIPD serve as credible benchmarks for assessing and developing professional competencies on a global scale, functioning as either alternatives or complements to academic education. Adopting an analytical-comparative approach, this article examines the role of new-collar workers and international certifications in redefining HR professionalization and proposes a framework for aligning skill-based learning with global standards. The findings indicate that embracing new-collar workers and integrating international credentials into HR policies can pave the way for organizations to develop competitive and professional human capital.
